The fees allow us to generate revenues used to finance UK immigration and to set certain fees below cost recovery in support of common goals the government. Revenues will contribute to securing our borders and control migration for the benefit the United Kingdom.

Given the need to reduce public expenditure, we had to carefully consider our level of fees to ensure we can maintain good levels of service to our customers and provide the limit for the general public."

It seems that UK immigration is once again directing the maintenance when it comes to the UK visa fee increases. The UK has some of the highest fees for immigration visas in the world.

It remains to be seen whether these increases visa fee will help fund the United Kingdom immigration system and improved border security. The increase in visa fees may postpone some people to come to the UK. The problem is that it may postpone the people who are actually needed by the UK economy to cope with the shortage of skills.

What happens when your visa expires?

Visas are issued for several different reasons. They allow people to work, study and visit in a country that is outside their nationality. Visas are often issued with a deadline. It is very important to adhere to this deadline as it can lead to legal problems within the host country.

Expired Permit

A visa allows a person to enter and stay in the country for a specified period of time. Once the visa authorization expires after the visa holder is no longer allowed to say in the country.

Leaving the Country

The visa holder is supposed to leave the country before the expiry date.

Arrest and Deportation

If a person overstays their visa, deportation is the most common punishment. Government resources limit non-national/alien studies of those who have committed no crime. Deportation is the expulsion from the country of non-national/alien. If non-national/alien was arrested for a crime, deportation will most likely follow.

Visa Over Stays

If the visa holder stays in the country for more than 180 days, an expired visa if they leave voluntarily will have a bar imposed on them from entering the United States again. For those who are left in the first year, three years tape will be placed in one year is 10 years bar.

Unavailability of other Visas

If the visa holder has expired visa overstays, it makes it unacceptable for many more visas. This includes all visas in the host country, and many others if the visa holder is trying to apply for visas to enter the new host country.
